Top Metal Fabrication firm seeks Production Manager – Fabrication. Manage production of high volume job shop.

* Expert in high volume job production
* Expert manager who can manage numerous supervisors
* Strong technical knowledge on fabrication techniques
* Exposure to CNC
* Natural Organiser
* Exposure to ISO and Quality
* Excellent Excel Skills (They use Excel to Organise Everything)
* Driver Administrative Personality
* 10+ years Production Management in Fabrication Jobbing
* 5+ years Boiler Making / Fabrication as Artisan

What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Metal Fabrication sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Planning and Scheduling of Jobs
* Optimising Floor Layout
* Manage Staff
* Ensure throughput and quality work delivered
* Optimise processes using technology
* Utlise CNC and Robotics to enhance productivity
* Manage and Optimise Costing (i.e. Budgets. Materials, Labour etc…)
* Maintain Quality and ISO Standards
* Manage Customer Expectations and On Time Delivery

Key Job Deliverables:

* Manage 120 Staff (Operators and Welders)
* Manage Large Supervisor Team
* Ensure quality work is Delivered
* Investigate Automation Options using CNC and Robotics

Background work experience:

* 10+ years Production Management in Fabrication Jobbing
* 5+ years Boiler Making / Fabrication as Artisan
* Boiler Making / Fabrication Qualification
* Production Management Qualification
* Production Tracking Systems (Implementing)
* Floor Layout and Optimisation
* Adv: Exposure to Industrial Engineering or Lean
