Channel Sales Person – DT81

Innovative IT company seeks Channel Sales Person. Develop and manage new and existing sales channel partners.

What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the PABX industry. As such, the person must be able to execute all job tasks in the Office Automation and PABX context and environment. The company has developed a unique Software as a Service solution. This solution enables organisations to manage expenses through effective management of telephone call costs. The person must manage sales channel partners to enable, empower and incentivise them to resell the solution, to existing and new customers. Channel partners will be existing PABX companies and potentially IT companies.

  • Establish a channel network through cold calling and networking
  • If you have an existing network of partners bring them on board
  • Provide training to partners
  • Join partners on sales calls
  • Provide preferential pricing to close large deals
  • Monthly promotions and incentives
  • Obtain answers to technical questions
  • Deal with customer support issues
  • Grow partner commitment to the solution
  • Grow revenue per partner
  • Achieve and over-achieve sales targets
  • Report on sales opportunities
  • Sales forecasting

Background work experience

  • 2+ Years Sales Experience
  • Preference for experience in one of the following industries:
  • IT Distribution
  • PABX or Office Automation
  • Account Management Exposure Advantageous
  • Business Development Management Exposure Advantageous
  • Technology background and passion – Advantageous

Reports to: Managing Director

Location: Newlands, Pretoria

Salary:

Basic: R 20K-R25K per month (dependent on experience and proven track record)

On Target: R 40K to R 50K per month

Maximum Earnings: No salary cap

Type: Permanent
